During character creation, always compare notes and make sure to design characters who fill separate niches. Not only does this let you broaden your horizons, it also ensures that you have a semi-balanced party.

However, if everyone wants to play rogues, just go with it. Sneak attacking everything into oblivion is more fun anyway.
